> The Door Jamb LED is a replacement for the incandescent bulb in the door jamb. It replaces the bulb and lamp socket since it corrodes and fails in many Panteras. > Unique operation, open door and the red LEDs illuminate the lens at steady state. After 15 seconds and the door is still open the Door Jamb LED will strobe at 8 times a second. > 2 High intensity red LED’s illuminate the red lens brighter than the single incandescent bulb. > LEDs are more efficient than incandescent bulbs, will not melt the red lens. > Very long life LED’s, in excess of 40,000 hours. Incandescent bulbs typical life is only 1,500 hours. > Simple installation by removing the bulb and bulb socket and inserting the Door Jamb LED into the lens mounting flange. > Simple connection, 2 wires and no other wiring changes. Terminals match the Panteras’ wiring harness. > Utilizes the factory boot for protection from water.
